Weekend Recap

Hi lovelies!  Happy Monday!  I hope you had a relaxing + fun weekend.  This past Friday, Sam and I traveled up from Houston to Oklahoma City for our engagement party. My parents were kind enough to throw a Mexican-themed shindig in our honor, and my blogging bestie Lindsay even came down from Kansas City!  While she was in town, I couldn't help but utilize her design skills in helping me accessorize #projectrosecreek.  Here she is hunting for throw pillows for me...

After an entire day of accessory hunting, the car was packed.  The only room we had to stuff the 6 throw pillows we found on our last stop was in the front seat on my lap!   Lindsay had to stuff me in the car like a cupcake in a keyhole. LOL:

All the work paid off, and we managed to accessorize the entry beautifully together:

That night, we went to my parent's house for the engagement party festivities:

I asked my two adorable cousins to be my flower girls for the wedding:

Sunday, my mom and I went through the vintage stamps she's been collecting for our
wedding invites.

I always love visiting my parents.  It allows me to take a break from the busyness of life and just enjoy family.  It was hard to come back to reality last night!
How was your weekend?

  2. You so absolutely beautiful!! That is so fun that Lindsay got to visit! And your cousins must be the happiest little girls in town! My daughter is dying to be a flower girl and there is no one in the near future getting married around here....poor thing!

  14. It’s funny you mention design or look of the PDF/Document/Guide, but so many people don’t take the time to make their publications look “nice” or professional. I see so many junky looking PDF’s. I don’t understand it, it doesn’t take much just to do a little formatting, even even for a novice. cheap cpanel hosting

  15. Open up all of your drapes before you show your home. Potential buyers love to observe how much daylight can be observed from just sunlight. Lift blinds completely while pulling back the drapes or drapes. National Homebuyers
