Wedding Wednesday: Rehearsal Dinner Dress

Happy Wednesday!  Today I am indulging you with another #WeddingWednesday post, mainly because I am in the midst of searching for a rehearsal dinner dress (and would love your help!)  I'd like to go with a white dress, and have been fixated on finding a lace option ever since seeing this Modern Trosseau number on Pinterest:

For those of you who love this dress as much as I do and would like the details, it was released in Modern Trousseau's 2011 dress collection and is called "Daphne." You can visit their website and search for store locations.  While I am pretty fixated on lace, there's a part of me that fantasizes about wearing a white tulle skirt.  How romantic would that be?!  And if I'm honest with myself, I'm not the type of girl that can pull off tulle during any other time than my wedding weekend...

I also love the glamour of sequins.  But rather than your typical Vegas party dress, a more tasteful number like this gown, featured on Style Me Pretty, would be perfect:

But, no one can argue with the timelessness of white.  Rosie Hunington-Whiteley was a stunner in her white ensemble at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival:

Shop These Dresses:

Which is your favorite?  What did you wear to your rehearsal dinner (or what do you plan to)?

  7. All are lovely, but I would go with the one shoulder or the Dream Weaver dress. My rehearsal was a lunch and more casual, so I wore a custom shirt.

  12. My wedding dress was Modern Trousseau! They are so amazing to work with. I actually tried on that short little number and was heavily considering wearing it for my rehearsal dinner. I went with black, instead! Completely different but I absolutely loved it. That Daphne dress is pretty amazing though. Even better in person - the lace has a really unique texture!

  14. I just purchased my rehearsal dinner dress from the big Lilly Pulitzer sale a few days ago (Fulton dress). I love it! Neiman Marcus has some cute white dresses too.

  15. I love two dresses from Lilly for a rehearsal dinner. The Topanga in white could definitely be a piece you could wear for years and the Deanna Maxi one just screams "having a good time!" I am on a Lilly kick right now and as Allie mentioned her sale above, I went a little nuts.

I wore the Graced Swing Dress from Anthropologie for our rehearsal dinner. It was perfect for the backyard fiesta we had and paired with gold flats and a tan cardigan, I can get away with wearing it to work sometimes.

  16. Shoot Sam. These are all such good ideas. I actually love the tulle because of that semi-casual gray it's paired with. But that sequins one is stunning too. Ah too hard to decide!
