Mad for Morocco

I'm absolutely mad for Morocco.  While I have longed to travel to this majestic land and experience the culture, it's aesthetic has already been influencing my design palette for many years.  The bold colors and patterns, dreamy rugs and wallcoverings, and romantic floor-style seating are just my style.

One specific Moroccan element I love is the puff.  It's such a fun touch to add, and can be juxtaposed easily in most traditional spaces.  Here are a few rooms I love that added a Moroccan puff.

This photo was just posted on Bijou and Boheme.  Isn't it fabulous?

If you aren't keen on the Moroccan look, try starting with a netural-colored puff.  It will add a funky element while not standing out too much.  What are your thoughts on all things Moroccan?

  7. Oh my gosh - I had never even thought of making my own Bento Boxes for lunch, but what a fabulous idea. When you think about it, they're kind of like really nice in-flight meals, with everything individually packaged and portioned.
