Delicious NYFW Street Style

As an avid fashion fan, I love New York Fashion Week time.  Luckily, many of my stylish blogger friends have been there to document bits and pieces of shows and after parties that have made me feel {almost} like I've been there myself.  On the 11th anniversary of 9/11, I felt it only appropriate to pay homage to the bustling, fashion-forward and very much alive city as it marches on in the aftermath of tragedy.

As much as I love gathering inspiration from runway collections, I always find street fashion to be the most intriguing.  Finding a way to transform the high fashion to the everyday is unique for everyone, which makes it all the more interesting.  There's no better time to devour street style than during fashion week.  Here are a few of my favorite NYFW sidewalk looks...

The Glamourai before hitting the Jason Wu show last Friday...

Loving this girl's military-inspired vest layered over a black leather jacket layered over a simple white shift dress...

Delicious, no?

In other news, I'll be at the Galleria Neiman Marcus tonight from 6-8 pm helping host the Houston Tidbits beauty event.  Cocktails, demos and samples at each counter, mini-facials, nail art, a red lip station a braid bar- plus more!  I hope all you fabulous Houstonians can make it!!  More details here...
