Needing, Wanting, Loving: Art Hung on Bookshelves

Happy Monday!  How was your weekend?!  I got a lot of work done and got to enjoy a few dinners out, so all in all mine was a success.  I've expressed my love for built-in bookshelves many, many times.  They add architectural interest, storage, and provide a great space to display accessories.  Recently in one of my classes, we had to re-design an International Style home.  I was horrified when some students chose to take out the beautiful built-ins that lined the hallways.  Never, could I ever!  My latest obsession is seeing art hung on the actual shelves.  It adds dimension and is such a fun, unique way:

Thank you, thank you, thank you for all the kind words and compliments on last week's townhome reveal.  I was so honored to also see it featured on Apartment Therapy.  You can see the post here.

Have a great week, my loves!

  1. Glad you're back! Is is bad that I am so addicted to reading your blog daily that I was actually worried about you when you didn't post for a couple days?! Ha! :)

  2. I love a good bookshelf too! How could people rip them out?! The art is a nice touch, I wish I had that many books to fill one!
