Friday's Worthy Links:
-OKC Thunder basketball player Kevin Durant accepted the NBA MVP award earlier this week with an emotional and compelling speech about the strength of kindness. His humble attitude and the obstacles he has overcome in his life are truly inspiring.
-I loved Jess Lively's latest Lively Show podcast, featuring interior designer Erin Gates of Elements of Style. Erin discusses her career background, her ongoing battle with perfectionism, and the risks she took to advance her career and her personal brand. It was incredibly encouraging for me and my own personal journey + career.
-This San Francisco home tour in the latest issue of Lonny Mag is the stuff my dreams are made of. Every detail is immaculately designed (including the foyer pictured above), and the fact that the home used to house the French diplomatic corps just adds to the charm.
-Next weekend I am headed to Palm Springs to help Lindsay celebrate her 30th b-day, and I am dying to add this colorful Mara Hoffman bikini and these beach pants to my suitcase.
-Babe Walker's latest book, Psychos, came out a few weeks ago and I'm dying to read it. I read her first book, White Girl Problem, while on a flight to Australia, and I'm pretty sure my seat neighbors were not as amused as I was by her hilarious prose. If this new book is even half as funny as her first, it'll be worth my time.
Happy weekend, all! Any big plans? I imagine I'll be enjoying a few cocktails now that my midterms are over!
