Happy Monday! I took last week off (unintentionally) from the blog, and am glad to be back! After spending several weekends out east in the Hamptons, I just needed to catch up on life in general. I also was thrilled to help a few of my girlfriends throw a white party last weekend, and will definitely share a full recap of the soiree soon. In the meantime, I wanted to start the week off by sharing a few items on my inspiration board right now...
From top to bottom (left to right):
-I'm still loving the off-the-shoulder trend, and trying to wear them as often as possible with the sun shining in Manhattan. I love this Tulum off-the-shoulder dress, $68, not only because it's gorgeous but also because it looks so comfortable.
-A Compendium of Design discusses the beauty of conservatories in this blog post. They are perfect for cooler, wet climates, like London, so homeowners can enjoy the beauty of their surroundings without having to feel the elements. The historic home shown above had a conservatory added, and the architectural details are stunning.
-Since I walk to work (I'm lucky to be only 10 blocks from my office!) and it's scorching hot in the city lately, my hair has been permanently up in a messy bun. I've been trying to find cute ways to switch it up, and I love the idea of pinning in a few florals.
-Just like off-the-shoulder frocks, I also can't get enough of statement earrings. And WHO can turn down leather petal drops in a pretty mint color, especially when they are only $22?!
-I've been drawn to the simplicity of Danish furniture lately, and West Elm's Commune Leather Sling Chair is a great replica. I also love the white stitching details on the back. $999/
-More statement earrings for less- Cairo Tassel Earrings $28/
-The interior design goddess herself, Kelly Wearstler, designed this gorgeous marshmallow sofa in my favorite shade of turquoise. Marshmallow upholstery seems to be the latest design trend... and I. love. it.
