Designer Crush: Cuff Home

I can't help but love an interior design firm with not only a killer portfolio, but also a well-designed logo.  Los-Angeles-based design and furnishing company, Cuffhome, definitely has both.  Interior designer Wendy Schwartz founded her firm, Wendy Schwartz Design, in 2000.  After helping to create a gorgeous LA mod home for PR extraordinaire Kristi Bender and her husband in 2007, the two girls decided to team up to launch a lighting, wallpaper and furniture company, Cuffhome.

In August 2012, Lonny featured Kristi's 1920s Tudor-style home designed by Wendy.  Kristi and her husband Chris Bender (executive producer of The Hangover and I Am Number Four) wanted to create a welcoming, California-cool space that their family could grow in to.  Wendy infused custom details, like the mix of tribal prints on the sofa and the malachite wallpaper in the entry, to create a one-of-a-kind feel for the couple.

A hallway featuring lacquered brass lighting and a Black Crow Studios custom wallcovering leads to their daughter's room:

The Bender's family room is a playful juxtaposition of pattern and whimsy, and features one of my all-time favorite coffee tables from Coleen & Company:

Throw pillows upholstered in Kelly Wearstler's Edo Opal linen add a pop of pattern to the master bedroom bed.  A cream tone on tone Cole and Sons wallpaper creates a serene backdrop.  I love the mod touches Wendy infused throughout the Tudor-style home, like the tub chairs and brass table shown at the foot of the bed:

Since teaming up in 2007, the girls have created beautiful spaces with a clear modern, bohemian vibe.  I love their unabashed use of color and mixed finishes:

And don't even get me started on their shop offerings...

Or their wallpaper collection...

Love what you see as much as I do?  See more of Cuffhome's portfolio and product offerings here. Happy Tuesday!
