Fall Forecasting: vmac + cheese

I'm so glad to see you all are loving the fall forecasting as much as me!  Today I have the lovely and stylish Victoria McGuinley of vmac + cheese sharing her take on what's trending for fall.  Victoria is the founder of Vivaleur, a creative services company for bloggers and small business owners.  She also is the co-creator of The B Bar, along with Meg Biram, who will be contributing to the series later this week! In addition to being an incredible businesswoman,  Victoria has a soft and chic aesthetic that I find so inspiring.  Here's what she's looking forward to for fall:

It's no secret that fall is my absolute favorite time of year. What's not to love? Classic pieces like pea coats and brown boats; cozy layers; crisp air; a fire crackling while you enjoy a hot cup of cider. In my mind, it's perfection.

To help Sam celebrate, I rounded up a list of some of my favorite things for fall -- or pieces that make me excited for the season. The artwork of Lauren Adams tops the list -- her seasonally inspired pieces always strike the right mood. This autumn, I'm also hoping to invest in some new boots, and perhaps a fun pair of (simple) statement pants, like these tuxedo skinnies. Even though they're on trend, I feel like a good tuxedo stripe is always in style.

What about you? Which of these pieces strike your fancy?

  1. I definitely need to remember those slippers for fall! Our hardwood floors get so cold, and socks don't seem to cut it for me (not to mention I'm a klutz and usually slip while wearing them). :-)

    1. I'm obsessed with these slippers. I got some for my husband last year as a stocking stuffer, and I can tell you, they're amazing!

  2. Loving the pumpkin tote and the dolce vita booties! You're totally's not possible to have too many boots!!

  3. Heading over! Love the slippers, I definitely need a new pair this season.

  4. Had no idea Restoration Hardware sold slippers! They look super comfy.

  5. I am VERY excited about #2!!

    Love these picks :)

  6. Love a good Mulberry tote for fall! For some reason their bags always remind me of colder weather.
Champagne Lifestyle on a Beer Budget

  7. Beautiful picks! And yes, theres no such thing as too many boots ;)

  8. I could not be more excited for fall so I love this round-up! I want that Serena and Lily throw and I love the Restoration Hardware slippers-I've been looking for a good pair since forever and who knew that RH made slippers? Might have to pick those up!

What say you? I'm all ears.
